History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: Standing 4'2", this man prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. His auburn hair has been sun bleached extensively. His blue eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Veit is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Orc companion (his 'brother'). He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Vaina is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Gifted from a young age, Vaina studied abroad. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and obtaining odd cultural gnomish artifacts is her passion

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Halander grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Halander. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.
