History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mehen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: He tends to wear a black poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. His crest is black, silky, and of moderate length. His red eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. The war was a terrible time for him, and Dadalan does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Through the years after Dadalan was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Dadalan's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. Arumawann is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and regain custody of his son

Description: She is lean but muscular and is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured. She wears her black hair up in a very large beehive style do. She is baby faced.

Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. She is a great chef.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Tailor work with an outfit from a few towns over. Tailor work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and balancing her hectic life and new tailor responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She works hard and plays hard.

History: Baelitae was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Baelitae alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Bookbinder for hire.

Motivation: She wants revenge against dire rats.
