History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He worked as a nervous Brewer and found it very stressful. He has achieved small success as a Brewer.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Brewer who has hired her part-time. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Through the years after Vadania was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Vadania's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
