When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Map Maker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He was born into a rich family. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Bella was born the youngest of three triplets. Bella liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Layabout for hire.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has achieved small success as a Barber.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is his passion

Description: A 4'0" northern woman, she wears a grey shirt, with a brown mid length skirt with brown tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. She is bald on top and has large chestnut tufts of hair around her ears. She has a dull look in her blue eyes.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She found a children's book about a Dwarf Druid who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero.
