Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Soapmaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.

Description: She does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. She is portly but not overly obese. Her red hair is wavy and long. Her brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. The war was a terrible time for her, and Pearl does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Gifted from a young age, Pearl studied abroad. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Seven never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: Gunter is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Gunter hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.
