History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He got into the Cartwright business at a young age. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has worked as a Cartwright like his father before him.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: An older man who is wearing a long, yellow, dusty cloak, he is not a threatening figure. His golden hair has been sun bleached extensively. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. The war was a terrible time for him, and Lamlis does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Half-Elven compassion; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: He dresses like a well dressed Herbalist does. He has relatively light skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy chestnut hair. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He's also a talented Farmer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and wants to open a new tavern
