History: Birel was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Bookbinder for hire.

Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep amber.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: Born to a Healer, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world
