Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Vonana was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Sculptor.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Aelar was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Shipwright. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Shipwright and was forced into it by his family; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
