History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the south; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. The war was a terrible time for her, and Claira does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She took after her mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her mother taught her to defend herself. When her mother died while fighting illithids, the young Claira began to lead the lost caravan. After a long history of fighting, Claira and her spouse have recently divorced.
