History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Hobart was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Arannis grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
