She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Andraste alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Through the years after Erevan was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Erevan's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When Everard reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Dwarven conditions. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Cartwright.

Motivation: To be a Glassblower again; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
