Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. Mardred was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Mardred decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. With a patchy black beard and wild black hair. His brown eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Scribe. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He's also a talented Bookbinder, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Born to a Herbalist, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Nim was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Ridaro lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Ridaro alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
