Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and to be a ploughman again

Description: This late middle aged woman wears many layers of old clothing at all times and is in decent physical shape. She has moderate length golden hair. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Laborer for the past few years.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Description: He wears a fancy grey suit. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. He wears a deerstalker hat to cover his moderate length chestnut hair. He has brown eyes.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

He has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. His copper crest is matted, messy, and big. His fierce gold eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: He was born into a rich family. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Sethrekar grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Sethrekar. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he has money and likes to spend it
