History: Murook hails from a village terrorized by giants. Her parents were killed by giants in a raid when she was still a young child. The giants captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. She wears a tan vest and prefers violet and blue shirts. Her boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. She keeps her blonde hair in a pixie cut. Her eyes are likewise gray.

Personality: She acts crazy and hedonistic. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She dresses in grey turtlenecks beneath a black coat with yellow slacks. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Adelaide's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is obsessed with her god.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Tiefling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tiefling doctor. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions.

Description: She wears brown leather gloves, a brown jacket, and tight pants, and carries morningstars. Her red fur is smooth and relatively long. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Shadow embodies much of what other species detest in the Tabaxis. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Shadow was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. Through the years after Shadow was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Shadow's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Shadow and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she wears a brown cloak and cross-gartered white stockings. Her chestnut hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. She has a dull look in her hazel eyes.

Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Emma was born the youngest of three triplets. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Emma alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and regain custody of her daughter
