History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Portia was raised in a hard working conservative environment. The family's rival house kidnapped her sister with the intent that her sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.
