In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gifted student she started as a Healer, but she got bored and became a Performer. She has worked as a Performer like her mother before her.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Performer responsibilities is difficult; and a deep hatred of brigands

History: Born to a Ploughman, her father struggled to pay the bills. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she has decided she is irredeemable
