Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. The war was a terrible time for her, and Kite does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Kite was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Helen was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Helen has worked very hard to control her curse. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: She hates Halflings with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Miller. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Miller for hire.

Motivation: To be a Ploughman again.

Description: He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. He has moderate length blonde hair. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are green.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Scribe born in the past three hundred years. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. He tends to his Scribe job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. He sports a flattop crest cut. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature ceremonial dagger.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and to reunite with his old friends
