Description: An imposing woman with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left hand, she wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. She sports a flattop hair cut. She has red eyes and a green hat with a black feather.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In her 18th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. His rusty crest is braided into rings. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines gold.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered music. He tends to his Map Maker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: She hates Halflings with a passion. As such she is filled with self loathing. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her first spouse was a Bookbinder, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: This man dresses like a well dressed Guard does, and sports empty pouches on his belt. His silver hair is lengthy. His eyes are amber and catlike.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: Aramil was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting goblins, the young Aramil began to lead the lost caravan. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Guard for the past few years.

Motivation: Many goblins want him driven away; and expand his business
