History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when she was still a young child. The gnolls captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Beast's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of brigands once and for all.

History: Beast lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Priest. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Verna was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has achieved small success as a Locksmith.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Wrenn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
