History: Nirgel was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warlock, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warlock in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Tiefling Warlock who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: She hates gnolls. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Dragonborns.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when she was still a young child. The gnolls captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: Helen was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
