History: The child of a Blacksmith, who enjoyed hunting, Gardain was taken on many hunting expeditions. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

History: Pogranix lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills.
