History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. At some point she was captured by brigands and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: This man is renowned for his bright blue suits and hats, and sports empty pouches on his belt. He wears his white hair down. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady gray eyes.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Junk Dealer.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with deerstalker hat. He has styled his brown hair well, parting it to the right. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: Pallabar is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Pallabar lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
