History: Eleanor was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and she loathes her own lifestyle

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized brown coat. His auburn hair is still thick. His hazel eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Kilvar embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: This malnourished man has a large black mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his white robe. He wears his black hair up. His black eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Orc companion (his 'brother'). Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and revenge

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He prefers to wear black clothing when he does not wear armor. He keeps his red hair in a flapper bob. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He married young, but lost his spouse to illithids. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he feels kind of lost in life

Description: 5'3" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a black coat. He wears a broad hat to hide his balding. His eyes are likewise gold. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He is a Stableman first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Marbas was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Marbas decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
