History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Theodoric was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Nutae and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: She is a Slave Trader first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Yebe is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Expand her business; and regain custody of her daughter
