History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. After a long history of fighting, Gilbert and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. Her black hair is knotted and matted. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Ranala hails from a village terrorized by giants. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Ranala's homeland. Ranala decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. He has never given up on his singing dream.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and money/treasure
