Description: She is of a modest build and height, but she carries herself more imposing than she is. She wears a fine chain shirt which she covers with red colored cloaks and clothing. She wears a feathered hat to cover her moderate length black hair. Her ears are large.

Personality: She hates giants. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Vani grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Vani. Being a Mason kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears a red shirt with thin violet vertical stripes and blue pants. He keeps his long auburn hair kept up in a rat tail. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his dancing with anyone who is interested.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Description: This western woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She tends to wear a large black jacket. Her chestnut hair has been sun bleached extensively. Her green eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Dilettante work with an outfit from a few towns over. Dilettante work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Carter. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A gifted student she started as a Priest, but she got bored and became a Carter. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero.
