Description: He is wearing a long, blue, dusty cloak. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his halberd, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a card on it. His silver hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He has a dull look in his amber eyes.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Merchant they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Priest, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and retire the richest man in the north

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and sabotage a competitor
