Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Mastema is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: Ella was born with her mother's beautiful face. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ella grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ella. She now mingles about in high society.

He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
