Personality: This woman loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Merla grew up listening to her father's many stories. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.
