Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dragonborns became a terror of the countryside. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

Personality: He is a Laborer first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and many illithids want him driven away
