Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Roofer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Description: He is an average looking eastern male in his early mid-life. He wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. His blonde hair is smooth and relatively long. His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born to a Priest, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: Ulla hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered north to less war torn lands. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and revenge

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Barber. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: She has a crush on the local Barber; and wants her loneliness to end
