Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. Her red hair is heavily combed to the left. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Zanna isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Gnomish unity. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Architect arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world
