Description: 5'5" and muscular, this southern man wears a grey vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His black leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his grey boots flare out at the collars. He is bald on top and has large blonde tufts of hair around his ears. Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nicholas fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the north. She worked as a nervous Herbalist and found it very stressful. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Herbalist for the past few years.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.
