History: Born in the west to a Navigator, Morgran learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Galiena was born on a far southern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Fortune-teller. She became a Fortune-teller soon after.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Fortune-teller and was forced into it by her family; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
