History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Howard grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Howard. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She takes great joy in being the best Apothecary in town.

History: She comes from a rich western family. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Apothecary work with an outfit from a few towns over. Apothecary work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. Elegant enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Elegant hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: Revenge; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: A hulking woman with gigantic muscles, she wears a worn and beaten armor. Her hair is white and curly. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Vepar wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Rogue, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Vepar was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has worked as a Cook like her mother before her.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. A true patriot, Duergath would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Duergath was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student he started as a Architect, but he got bored and became a Navigator. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature quarterstaff.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.
