History: She was born in the north. Through the years after Shanairla was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Shanairla's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel.
