Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Nicholas grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Nicholas. Being a Beggar kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: She is witty, but her monotone delivery comes off as unnerving As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: Born in the north to a Ruler, Creega learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. A gifted student she started as a Carter, but she got bored and became a Ruler. She has achieved small success as a Ruler.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking western young adult. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His silver hair is greasy and uncared for. His brown eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Ruler work with an outfit from a few towns over. Ruler work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 4 years.

History: Thamior was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Brewer. He tends to his Brewer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Brewer responsibilities is difficult.
