History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Shava lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.
