History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Adrex alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Through the years after Alex was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Alex's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Through the years after Nyx was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Nyx's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A freak accident while working with his Assassin father left him crippled. He's also a talented Assassin, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: An older woman who typically wears red cloth garments or leather armor, she is not a threatening figure. She has done her best to style her silver hair to look like a famous performer. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Lavinia's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Lavinia grew up listening to her father's many stories. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Crown-heir work with an outfit from a few towns over. Crown-heir work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She became a Crown-heir soon after.
