History: Quarion was born with his mother's beautiful face. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Tod was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.
