History: Born to a Herbalist, his father struggled to pay the bills. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature axe.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Griselda liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was granted martial powers by her dying brother.
