Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. Varis enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Varis hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Shamil is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Born in the south to a Spy, Shamil learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.
