Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. During her travels, Joan and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Joan discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Joan fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.
