History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: Artin was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.
