Description: A hulking woman with gigantic muscles, she is renowned for her bright grey dresses and hats. She sports a flattop hair cut. She has blue eyes and a grey hat with a white feather.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Barbena was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. A freak accident while working with her Guard mother left her crippled. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
