History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mardnab fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She hates brigands. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She uses divination through singing.

History: Birel hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Her parents were killed by brigands in a raid when she was still a young child. The brigands captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and to end his boredom

Description: This eastern woman is abnormally tall. She wears a fancy blue dress. Her whole body is exceptionally muscular. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her blue eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: Gifted from a young age, Siffress studied abroad. She found a children's book about a Gnome Cleric who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and to find somewhere to settle down
