History: He comes from a rich northern family. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This man is very fat, and wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His moppish auburn hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His green eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed falchion, just in case. He has a long red beard with little hanging trinkets. His eyes are likewise gray. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He takes great joy in being the best Engraver in town.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. His childhood dream was to be a Seamstress, but he was a colossal failure. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Engraver.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and balancing his hectic life and new engraver responsibilities is difficult

Description: This late middle aged woman is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing brown cape and mantle trimmed with soft black waves gently in the breeze and is in decent physical shape. Her white fur is knotted and matted. Her blue eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Born in the north to a Ruler, Dynamic learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
