History: He was raised in a plains tribe. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Spice Merchant arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when she was still a young child. The gnolls captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Artin grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Artin. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Personality: Murook hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day
