History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Alain isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
