Description: This fat western man has a bulbous nose and is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He sports a long blonde beard, and similarly colored long hair. He has gleaming, smiling hazel eyes.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Bertram took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up sickle and armor he uses now. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She typically wears black cloth garments or leather armor. She keeps her long chestnut hair kept up in a rat tail. Her fierce black eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. When Vapula reached her early adolescence her Tiefling mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Gardener profession.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has worked as a Unemployed like his mother before him.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.
